Clemson v Georgia college football

The 16th ranked Clemson Tigers travel to take on the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium. Clemson had an excellent season last year that started with a 38-35 win over this same Georgia team. Clemson was able to defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Discover Orange Bowl. So the Tigers will be full of confidence heading in to the 2014 season. But Clemson lost two of its best players to the NFL last year, and Georgia will be looking to capitalize and get revenge on the Tigers. Last year the Bulldogs went 8-4 in the regular season before losing their bowl game to Nebraska 24-19. If the Bulldogs can stay healthy this year then many critics have picked them to be one of the four teams in the playoff at the end of the season.

  • The Aaron Murray era is over for the Bulldogs, but Todd Gurley returns for his junior year with high expectations. Gurley was a having an excellent year for the Bulldogs last year before his injury. This year Gurley will have to stay healthy if they stand any chance.
